PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily drying a beef feed plant without deteriorating it.SOLUTION: A method for drying a beef feed plant includes the steps of: (I) harvesting plants cultivated in a planting land; (II) molding the plants harvested at the step (I) into a bale by a bale molding device; and (III) preserving and drying the bales obtained at the step (II) as one or two or more of aggregates. At the step (III), an upper portion of the one or two or more of aggregates, and 60% or more of a portion from above in a height direction of a side peripheral portion thereof are preserved and dried while being covered with a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet having moisture permeability of not less than 100 g/m24 hr.
