The invention relates a structural material suitable for constructing load bearing structures such as truck mountable dumper or tipper bodies, tanks, ship hulls, containers and the like, comprising a first layer of fibre reinforced thermoplastic or thermoset material; a space frame structure of fibre reinforced thermoplastic or thermoset material; a second layer of fibre reinforced thermoplastic or thermoset material; wherein the space frame structure is arranged in between and affixed to the first and the second layer. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing a structural material. |
