PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an LPF processing for a picture signal, while suppressing an increase of a circuit scale.SOLUTION: A signal processor calculates an average value of pixels in each block as a representative value of the block on the basis of an input picture signal, where the block is assumed as each of regions obtained by dividing a frame image into a plurality of pixels, and calculates a low frequency component extraction value of calculation subject pixels by performing a spline interpolation using a plurality of the representative values of the block for neighbor of a calculation subject pixel of the low frequency component extraction value. By substituting a value obtained by the spline interpolation for an output result of an LPF, a circuit scale can be significantly reduced comparing to a general LPF processing. |
