PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing accumulation and adherence of developer to a blade, and suppressing the occurrence of printing failure.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a developing frame 25 for storing toner; a developing roller 34 that is rotatable and for carrying toner; and a blade member 60 for regulating a thickness of the toner carried by the developing roller 34. The blade member 60 includes a base end part 70 supported by the developing frame 25, and a leading end part 71 arranged on the developing roller 34 side. The leading end part 71 includes a contact part 73 coming into contact with a peripheral surface of the developing roller 34, and a separation part 74 separated from the surface of the developing roller 34 from the contact part 73 toward a leading end A; and the leading end A of the separation part 74 is directed downward with respect to a horizontal direction. |
