PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which has a high zooming ratio and a wide field angle, favorably corrects color aberration in the whole zooming range from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, and has high optical performance in the whole zooming range.SOLUTION: The zoom lens comprises, successively from an object side to an image side: a first group F that is immobile for zooming and has a positive refractive power; a second group V that is moved upon zooming and has a negative refractive power; a third group C that is moved upon zooming and has a negative refractive power; and a fourth group R that is immobile for zooming and has a positive refractive power. The first group is composed of, successively from the object side to the image side, a front partial system 1a that is immobile upon focusing and has a negative refractive power, a movable partial system 1b that is moved for focusing and has a positive refractive power, and a rear partial system 1c that is immobile upon focusing and has a positive refractive power; and satisfies predetermined conditions relating to positive lenses and negative lenses of the movable partial system and the rear partial system. |
