PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump unit capable of ensuring redundancy without using a plurality of pump unit.SOLUTION: The pump unit provided in a pipeline for feeding a liquid at a preset unit flow rate, comprises n+1 pumps and a constant flow rate valve. The pumps are configured such that the unit flow rate is achieved when arranging n pumps in series and pressurizing the liquid by each of the n pumps, and the n+1 pumps are connected in series. The constant flow rate valve is provided in the downstream of the n+1 pumps. When the liquid is pressurized by n of the n+1 pumps, the constant flow rate valve applies a first resistance to the liquid to feed the liquid at the unit flow rate. When the liquid is pressurized by the n+1 pumps, the constant flow rate valve applies a second resistance greater than the first resistance to the liquid to feed the liquid at the unit flow rate. |
