The mine elevator has a water-filled hutch that is lifted till a desired height by a counter balance with same mass. The counter balance is provided as another water-filled hutch, in which a pontoon is floated. An empty truck or railway vehicle is placed on the pontoon. The water level of the hutches is same, while the masses to be moved are exactly identical. The locks are provided as portion of a mining plant.
