The invention relates to a backdrop apparatus for use during recording or filming of an interview by way of an image capturing arrangement, the backdrop apparatus comprising an at least partly planar surface onto which is disposed an predetermined arrangement of communication zones which display communication data, wherein the arrangement of communication zones comprises at least one dynamic communication zone being operable to display a variable communication, and at least one static communication zone being operable to display a static communication.
