PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator motor which uniformly reduces temperatures of coils wound around slots regardless of slot positions when the coils are cooled by using a liquid refrigerant.SOLUTION: A generator motor includes: a rotor having a rotation shaft; a stator core 1 which includes slots and teeth at the outer peripheral side of the rotor 5; armature coils 4 which are housed in the slots and are wound around the teeth; and means 21 disposed at both axial end sides of the rotation shaft 6 and used for dropping or jetting a liquid refrigerant 20 to end parts of each armature coil 4. Liquid refrigerant passages 14, each of which respectively inclines downward from both end parts of the slot housing the armature coil 4 toward an axial center of the rotation shaft, are provided. Each liquid refrigerant passage 14 is provided at a gap between the armature coils 4, which are wound around the adjacent teeth and are housed in the same slot, and is an inclined plate body 14 or a wedge shaped spacer. |
