PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket excellent in mechanical strength properties and heat transfer properties.SOLUTION: The basket 2 includes: a laminate where a first group of wall panels composed of a plurality of rectangular and tabular basket plates 20 with a plurality of hollows 21 formed on both longer sides at a prescribed interval, arranged in a first diameter direction of a cask, and a second group of wall panels composed of a plurality of basket plates 20 arranged in a second diameter direction orthogonal to the first diameter direction are laminated and arranged alternately so that the hollows 21 of one group are inserted into the hollows of the other group; and a communication member 19 which penetrates the basket plate 20 and is arranged on an end of a longer side of another basket plate 20 inserted into the hollow 21 of the basket plate 20. The basket plate 20 is configured so that a pair of rectangular division plates 200 having a projection 202 formed on one surface and a notch 201 constituting the hollow 21 are disposed to face each other over a gap 24a, with the surfaces on which the projection 202 is formed facing each other. The communication member 19 is disposed in the gap 24a so as to touch and support another basket plate 20. |
