PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wear and/or friction between a cam 3 having a cam surface 6 coated at least in part with amorphous carbon and a moved member moved by the cam 3.SOLUTION: A cam surface 6 coated with amorphous carbon is finished by superfinishing. Preferably, at least one of grinding, honing, polishing and shot peening is applied to the cam surface 6 coated with amorphous carbon as the superfinishing.
