摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing system capable of accurately detecting various defects occurring in the entire bead.SOLUTION: The image processing method for recognizing the shape of a bead of a welded part on the basis of an image obtained by photographing and acquiring the welded part with residual thermoluminescence occurring during beam system junction includes a step for recognizing a bead area in an image corresponding to the bead on the image, a step for forming a contour line being the outer shape of the bead area and a backbone line going along the width center of the bead area, and calculating a luminance distribution of residual thermoluminescence going along the backbone line on the basis of the image, and a step for determining a recess-shaped defect of a junction end part of the bead, and a recess-shaped defect of a junction middle part of the bead on the basis of a relation between the contour line and the backbone line, and determining an elimination defect of the junction start part of the bead, a separation defect of the bead, and a hole-shaped defect of the junction middle part of the bead on the basis of the luminance distribution of the residual thermoluminescence. The image processing system uses the method.
