PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable intraocular lens (IOL), which can be more easily inserted in the eye through a small cut area.SOLUTION: An IOL has a recessed inside optical part area and a rim (or a lip) outside the peripheral edge, which is formed to be integral with the optical part and increased in thickness to be raised. By this configuration, the volume of the IOL can be reduced, so that the intraocular lens can be inserted in a very small cut area without damaging the optical part (an optical lens and the like) or without sacrificing the stability of the IOL. |
