PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a litz wire terminal processing method that can simply and surely prevent insulation coating from being removed more than prescribed length due to infiltration of chemical remover into the inside of litz wire by a capillary phenomenon, and that can produce the litz wire with a reliable terminal.SOLUTION: A terminal of litz wire is processed by a terminal processing method that includes: a first step of inserting the terminal part of the litz wire into a tube from one end side of the tube, and exposing the terminal part from the other end side of the tube by prescribed length; and a second step of immersing the terminal part of the litz wire into chemical remover so that the end surface of the other end side of the tube will be below the liquid level of the chemical remover, keeps a state in which positive pressure is applied within the tube by introducing gas in the tube for a prescribed time, and removing insulation coating. |
