PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deterioration in an image quality due to a reduction in the number of pixels when generating a refocus image.SOLUTION: In an image processor of an embodiment, a generation part generates a refocus image focused on a prescribed distance from a plurality of unit images imaged at positions at which a point on a subject is different in accordance with a distance from an imaging part to the position of the point on the subject. A determination part determines sampling information including a set of a position in the refocus image of pixels in a plurality of images and a pixel value of the pixels, and a processing part performs high resolution processing of a prescribed area including a first position shown in the sampling information of the refocus image with strength corresponding to a focusing degree of pixels corresponding to the first position.
