PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for editing corresponding to a story even if there is no optimum image as material.SOLUTION: An editing apparatus comprises: a story determination part which determines a story expressed by a time function, which is a reference for selecting an image from among plural candidate images; an evaluation value calculation part which, on the basis of the story determined by the story determination part and one or more feature values set to each of the plural candidate images and representing the features of the candidate images, calculates an evaluation value of each candidate image, for each selection time in the story; an image selection part which, on the basis of the evaluation value calculated by the evaluation value calculation part, selects an image for each selection time from among the candidate images; a candidate image correction part which corrects the selected candidate image on the basis of the evaluation value; and an editing processor which combines in time series the images selected for each selection time and the candidate images corrected on the basis of the evaluation value. |
