The present invention relates to a foreign substance removing device of a brush for a vacuum cleaner, which enables a user to easily remove foreign substances (hair or thread) which are matted on the brush of the vacuum cleaner. The present invention is the foreign substance removing device of a brush for a vacuum cleaner in order to remove foreign substances which are matted on the brush which is installed in the vacuum cleaner by including: a brush main body which has multiple brushes around a rotary shaft and has a slit formed in a longitudinal direction; and a cutting module which removes the foreign substances by being inserted into the brush main body and moving in the longitudinal direction. The cutting module has a blade part at a front end and the blade part removes foreign substances which are matted on the brush by moving in the brush main body in the longitudinal direction in a state of being exposed to the upper part of the slit.
