<p>Alloy comprises 4.5 - 4.9% Ni, 4.5 - 4.9% Al, 2.5-3.0% Mn, 0.7-1% Cr, balance Cu. Toxicity problems associated with conventional Be bronzes are eliminated, and the colour difference between the alloy and the magnetic regions of the recording head permit optical microscopic control of delineations to 1.5-2 mu. The alloy is relatively inexpensive and has good mechanical characteristics.</p> |
