The present invention relates to an optical touch screen device using total reflection scattering and includes a total reflection plate having a touch surface on the front surface; a light emitting unit emitting scan light into the total reflection plate; a light guiding plate attached to the rear surface of the total reflection plate and including a plurality of scattering patterns; and a light receiving unit receiving the scan light totally reflected in the light guiding plate, after the scan light is scattered by an object touching the touch surface, irradiated to the light guiding plate and the scattered scan light is reflected by the scattering patterns. The optical touch screen device using the total reflection scattering can be applied to a plate type display device by using the thin light guiding plate and a plurality of light receiving modules in order to recognize the scattered light in a touch sensing device using FTIR. |
