Disclosed is a smart travel trail guide service method. The method for providing a smart travel trail guide service which guides travel information about a travel trail prepared with a designated QR (DQR) code at a plurality of spots includes the steps of: (a) scanning a main DQR code prepared at a starting spot of the travel trail in a user terminal; (b) transmitting the main DQR code and a terminal identifier of the user terminal to a smart travel trail guide service server; (c) downloading travel trail content searched in correspondence to the main DQR code from the smart travel trail guide service server and storing the travel trail content in a terminal database; (d) reading and outputting travel information about the section to the spot prepared with a first sub DQR code on the travel trail from the travel trail content; (e) scanning the sub DQR code prepared on the travel trail; (f) allowing access to travel information about a partial section corresponding to the sub DQR code among the travel trail content stored in the terminal database by analyzing the sub DQR code; and (g) outputting travel information about the partial section which is allowed to access. The step (e) through the step (g) are repetitively performed as to the DQR code prepared in the spots on the travel trail.
