Disclosed are a schedule management apparatus and a schedule management method capable of increasing efficiency of schedule management by providing notification service in order to manage main schedule inputted from a user systematically. In order to achieve the objective, provided is a schedule management apparatus including: a user terminal; a time agent program which is installed in the user terminal and outputs main schedule information at an established time; a checklist DB which is installed in the user terminal and stores information about an assistant schedule list per main schedule; and a schedule management program which is installed in the user terminal and collects main schedule information inputted to the time agent program, and extracts the assistant schedule list corresponding to the main schedule information from the assistant schedule DB, and provides notification service about the extracted assistant schedule list. By the present invention, a user can manage a main schedule systematically because an assistant schedule related with a main schedule is set automatically only if the user inputs the main schedule through a user terminal.
