The present invention relates to a method and a device for displaying a keypad on a terminal by receiving various gestures from a user. The keypad display method includes: a step of receiving a keypad call command; a step of arranging at least one keypad block according to the receiving trajectory of the keypad call command and displaying the keypad block on a terminal. The keypad display device given in the present invention includes: an input unit which receives an input from a user; and a control unit which determines whether the input is a keypad call command, arranges at least one keypad block according to the trajectory of the keypad call command, and displays the keypad block on the terminal. According to the present invention, the intuitiveness and the efficiency of a keypad display interface can be enhanced, and it is possible to provide an ergonomic keypad in consideration of various minds and conditions of the user.
