<p>A method of making multiple connectors for multiple pneumatic or hydraulic hose systems, esp. for hose strips pneumatic or hydraulic hose systems, esp. for hose strips of pneumatic instrumentation and control equipment, where a number of parallel ducts are incorporated in a common hose and each duct is fitted with a push-on tube embedded in a common connector block and leading into a bore with a coupling connection, is as follows: the push-on tubes are first each inserted into the open ends of the ducts of the hose strip; they are then aligned and the tubes together with the hose ends are embedded in the block as it is cast in a mould with the bores formed simultaneously in the block. The block is pref. of plastics. Accurate alignment of the bores and tubes in the block with the ducts in the hose strip is obts. The hose is relieved of tension loads by the neck embedded in the block. A tight connection is obtd to all ducts.</p> |
