DEVICE FOR ANALYSIS OF BIO-MOLECULAR MEDIA

A device for analysis of bio-molecular media includes optical unit, this comprises a source of p-polarized monochromatic visible light, total internal reflection prism with film metal working element applied to its surface, and a system for measurement of intensity of light reflected from the working element, and the device for mechanical turn of prism with stepping motor and system for transfer of rotary motion from the stepping motor to the prism. The working element has the upper layer of porous silicon oxide with thickness of 40÷120 nm, with porosity of 10÷60 %.
