The present invention relates to an ultrasound transducer which uses a signal path integrated housing. The ultrasound transducer includes: a housing which acts as a handle; an array which is positioned on one side of the housing, and is equipped with a flexible substrate having multiple piezoelectric elements arranged side by side on a backing member and a pattern circuit electrically connected with the piezoelectric elements; and a cable assembly which has multiple thin wires. The provided ultrasound transducer has a small handle and an excellent grip, and has an improved degree of ergonomic design freedom by minimizing the necessary space in a scan head whereby a signal path, which electrically connects the pattern circuit of the flexible substrate with the thin wires, is formed to be in one body with the housing. |
