PURPOSE: An ecological block and a retaining wall construction method using the same are provided to offer various colors and surface patterns because the ecological block is molded out of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION: A retaining wall construction method using ecological blocks(100) is as follows. Two or more ecological blocks formed with coupling projections(121) are prepared. A concrete foundation, and first and second stage retaining walls are successively formed. The retaining wall forming step is repeated to complete a stepped retaining wall. Aggregate and backfill soil are filled to support the backside of the stepped retaining wall. The top of the stepped retaining wall is finished with concrete.
