PURPOSE: An electric lift buckle device for a vehicle and an operating method thereof are provided to improve wearability of a seat belt by automatically lifting a buckle when a passenger wants to wear the seat belt. CONSTITUTION: An electric lift buckle device for a vehicle comprises a housing(11), an electric motor(12), a lead screw(13), a transfer nut(14), and a wire(16). The lead screw rotates in the fixed position by the power of the electric motor. The transfer nut is transferred along the lead screw when the lead screw rotates.
