A heating/air-conditioning installation (IC) comprises i) a compressor (CP) equipped with an electric motor (ME) and able to heat and pressurize a refrigerant, ii) an internal condenser (CDI) capable, in heating mode, of contributing to heating an internal air by exchange with the refrigerant from the compressor (CP), iii) an external exchanger (EE) capable, in heating mode, of heating up the refrigerant by exchange with an external air to supply the compressor (CP), and iv) control means (MC) designed, in heating mode, when the amount of heat energy that the installation (IC) is able to produce is below the amount of heat energy needed for heating the internal air, to operate in an auxiliary mode capable of causing the refrigerant to heat up, without pressurizing, as it passes through the compressor (CP). |
