PURPOSE: A raw coal crusher is provided to maximize workability, and to decrease the transferred lump coal after crushing, thereby improving productivity in a transport work. CONSTITUTION: A raw coal crusher comprises: a particle size analyzer(35) measuring a ratio of lump coal contained in the raw coal on a belt conveyor(20) transporting the raw coal to a surge bin(21); a control unit(36) calculating a discharging amount of raw coal of the surge bin by using the measured ratio of lump coal to discharge the raw coal containing the lump coal to correspond to the crushing ability of a crusher from the surge bin, and controlling an opening ratio of a wave gate(22) installed at a discharging hole in the lower side of the surge based on the calculated discharging amount; a screen dividing the discharged raw coal into lump coal which is bigger than a reference particle size, and lump coal which is smaller than the reference particle size; and a vibrating feeder(25) injecting the divided lump coal to the crusher through a lump chute(28).
