PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a cut position of a belt-like body and a method for controlling a cut position of a belt-like body which can automatically perform manual adjustment of a cut position and the manual adjustment of a sensor detecting position in a paper width direction according to a pattern, which are performed by an operator when starting print.SOLUTION: In a device and a method for controlling a cut position of a belt-like body, a pattern that should be a reference is selected from image data of the pattern to be printed by print means, and a position of detection means in a width direction of the belt-like body is obtained from a position of the selected pattern that should be the reference, to control detection means moving means. |
