PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of omitting troublesome operation for setting (authentication) such as so-called pairing.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises a radio communication unit 16 which receives data from a mobile phone 2 and a reader and writer 15 for transmitting an address of the radio communication unit 16 to the mobile phone 2. The mobile phone 2 comprises a contact/non-contact IC card 26 for receiving the address and a radio communication unit 27 for transmitting image data to the radio communication unit 16 by using the address. In communication between the mobile phone 2 and the image forming apparatus 1, the address of the radio communication unit 16 is transmitted to the contact/non-contact IC card 26 via the reader and writer 15, and the radio communication unit 27 transmits the data to the radio communication unit 16 by using the address.
