The present invention relates to a system for managing the power and traffic of a server and, more in detail, to a system for managing the power and traffic of a server capable of reducing the abuse of the power by concentrating user's traffics on a part among a plurality of hardware main bodies and stopping the operation of the rest if the connection rate of the users drops in the server composed of the hardware main bodies. To attain the objective, the present invention comprises: the server composed of the hardware main bodies; a power management device for managing the power of the hardware main bodies; a traffic management device for distributing the users who attempt to access the server to each of the hardware main bodies; and a central controller for controlling and monitoring the hardware main bodies, the power management device, and the traffic management device. The central controller transmits a power saving mode control signal to the traffic management device if the number of users who access to the current server drops under a set value. If the traffic management device receives the power saving mode control signal, the central controller enables to the users accessed to a preset part of the hardware main bodies among the hardware main bodes and the users accessed afterward to access the rest part of the hardware main bodies.
