<p>The electrical terminal, e.g. for a plug, is used with conductors carrying relatively large currents of above 16 amps. It is formed from single sheet metal band (1), which is bent through 90 degrees three times, so as to form a rectangle, with one side (2) of the latter having a slot (3) for insertion of the conductor (9). The latter is held against the base (4) of the rectangle via a spring-biased pressure element (5). The base (4) of the rectangle has an axial slot (7), extending longitudinally relative to the inserted conductor (9), so that the latter is held in position in the slot by the pressure element (5).</p> |
