<p>A colour filter array substrate (110) and a manufacturing method therefor. The colour filter array substrate (110) comprises a transparent substrate (112), a thin-film transistor (114), a colour filter unit (116) and a pixel electrode (118). The colour filter unit (116) is located on a groove (121) of the transparent substrate (112), and is used for converting a light impacting the colour filter unit (116) into a light with a preset colour. The pixel electrode (118) is located on the colour filter unit (116), is coupled to a drain electrode (133) of the thin-film transistor (114), and is used for controlling the rotation direction of the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal layer (150) according to the level of an electrical signal transmitted to the drain electrode (133) when a gate electrode (131) of the thin-film transistor (114) receives a scan pulse. The colour filter unit (116) is formed on the first groove (121), and the pixel electrode (118) is formed on the colour filter unit (116), thereby enabling the drain electrode (133) connected to the thin-film transistor (114) to be connected with the pixel electrode (118), without forming an open hole on a protective layer (141), so that an etching process for forming the open hole on the protective layer (141) can be omitted.</p> |
