A solar power concentration apparatus, a cable like apparatus for power transmission and a method of transmitting energy between different altitudes are provided. By using a unique inflatable structure to concentrate solar energy, it is possible to create a balloon type solar power station to capture solar power above the ground. A self supporting cable solution is provided for power transmission. It overcomes the obstacles of supporting the weight of the cable and reduces the wind drag related load to the cable. |
