PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration able to restrict image distortion corresponding to each color resulting from lens distortion, and color shift caused by false light resulting from white light scattering in a display panel.SOLUTION: An image signal processing apparatus includes a plurality of color correspondence distortion correction section configured to input each color signal for a correction target image, and makes an image distortion correction for each color, resulting from a lens distortion characteristic, thereby forming a correction image corresponding to each other. Each of the plurality of color correspondence distortion correction sections inputs a reference signal indicating a pixel position in an input image used for calculating each pixel value of an output correction image, and sets, as an output pixel value, a pixel value at the pixel position of an input image indicated by the reference signal. At least one of the color correspondence distortion correction sections uses a correction reference signal set such that the difference between the correction reference signal and reference signals in other colors is small, sets, as an output pixel image, a pixel value at the pixel position of an input image indicated by the correction reference signal, and generates and output a correction image further subjected to a band control as a high range reduction process. |
