PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment system including a centrifugal separator for condensing sludge and a furnace for heat-treating the condensed sludge, allowing the operating conditions of the centrifugal separator to be optimal conditions that are automatically controlled corresponding to the operating status of the furnace.SOLUTION: The system includes an automatic control device for adjusting one or more control values selected from the centrifugal force to be imparted to the sludge by the bowl of the centrifugal separator, the condensed sludge-conveying torque of the screw conveyor of the centrifugal separator, the differential speed between the bowl and the screw conveyor of the centrifugal separator, and the chemical feeding rate of an aggregating agent or the like, in response to receipt of information on the heat treatment status of condensed sludge from the furnace. |
