PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that more efficiently utilizes uplink resources in a packet data network (PDN).SOLUTION: A mobile unit UE establishes a plurality of packet data network (PDN) connections via a NodeB. Gateways GW 1 and GW2 serving the PDN connections provide one or more non-guaranteed bit rate bearers PDN1 and PDN2 respectively and signal aggregate maximum bit rate (AMBR) values and scheduling priority parameters P1 and P2 for the PDN1 and PDN2 respectively. The mobile unit UE, when transmitting data packets to the network, selects one of the non-guaranteed bit rate bearers by taking into account the priority, where an aggregated bit rate of the data packets is limited on the basis of the AMBR value for each of the non-guaranteed bit rate bearers PDN1 and PDN2. |
