PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: A communication system 1 has a transmission device 10 and a receiving device 20 for receiving data transmitted from the transmission device 10. The receiving device 20 transmits a reply signal to the transmission device 10 by changing a signal level, at a data reception end timing detected on the basis of a clock signal which defines data receiving timing in the receiving device 20. The transmission device 10, on the basis of the clock signal which defines data transmission timing in the transmission device 10, determines whether or not the signal level of the reply signal transmitted from the receiving device 20 is changed, before and after the reception end timing, respectively. |
