PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device that supplies power to loads such as LEDs and allows achieving long life and reduction in size.SOLUTION: A driving device 101 comprises: a primary-side rectifier circuit BD1 rectifying a received AC voltage; a first capacitor C1 smoothing the rectified voltage; a switching element Q1 coupled to a primary winding L1 of a transformer T1, converting the smoothed voltage into an AC voltage by turning on and off, and supplying the resultant voltage to the primary winding L1; a secondary-side rectifier smoothing circuit 24 rectifying and smoothing an AC voltage induced in a secondary winding L2 of the transformer T1 and outputting the resultant voltage to loads 11 to 13; a switching control circuit 22 turning on and off the switching element Q1 by supplying a driving voltage to a control electrode of the switching element Q1; and a bias circuit 21 supplying a bias voltage to the control electrode of the switching element Q1 on the basis of the voltage induced in the primary winding L1. |
