The corrugated-board lining paper comprises a layer (1) of chemical-mechanical substance and a further layer (2) of used paper/pulp stock. One layer (1) is obtained from chemical-mechanical substance out of pinewood with a yield of 70 to 90 per cent, which with a substance density of 20 to 40 per cent is subjected to defibration and/or grinding. The other layer (2) is obtained from used paper/pulp stock by long-fibre enrichment by means of fractionation of commercially available used paper. In the production of this thick paper, a considerably better utilisation of wood as a raw material is achieved than hitherto. <IMAGE>
