The present invention relates to a geothermal heat pump system which includes a heat pump unit which is connected to exchange heat with at least one underground heat exchanger; a cooling-and-heating unit which is connected to exchange heat with the heat pump unit; and a geothermal heat storing unit which is connected between the heat pump unit and the cooling-and-heating unit and which stores energy generated by the heat pump unit. The geothermal heat pump system includes a detection tank which is interlocked with a water supply pipe to be open and closed by a solenoid valve. A foreign material detecting member is installed inside the detection tank. Therefore, the geothermal heat pump system forms a bypass which includes an instant radiating member and which circulates inside a cold-hot water supply pipe, thereby rapidly heating; providing hot water; and cooling. And, the geothermal heat pump system filters water and checks a quality of the water by including the foreign material detecting member and a filter member so that hygienic water can be supplied.
