<p>Provided is a clothing processing device, comprising a case, a housing tank which is positioned within the case and houses clothing, an aperture part which is formed on the front face of the case and is for putting the clothing in and removing the clothes from the housing tank, a door which openably and closably covers the aperture part, and a door lock device which locks the door. The door further comprises a latch (2) whereupon a protrusion part (40) is formed. The door lock device further comprises an engaging part. The protrusion part (40) of the latch (2) is configured to be engaged by the engaging part. A sliding contact part (41) which slides when the protrusion part (40) is engaged in the engaging part is configured of a plurality of contiguous faces which, when the door is opened while the protrusion part (40) is engaged in the engaging part, form an obtuse angle with the direction of the external force which initially acts on the engaging part, and whereupon the obtuse angle varies.</p> |
