UNEQUAL MULTIPATH PROTECTION OF DIFFERENT FRAMES WITHIN SUPERFRAME USING DIFFERENT CYCLIC PREFIX LENGTHS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for providing multipath protection of a portion of a frame classified as having a first importance level.SOLUTION: Different cyclic prefix lengths may be used, depending on whether a frame contains information deemed critical. An embodiment comprises: selecting a first cyclic prefix for a first data frame containing information classified as a first importance level; selecting a second cyclic prefix length for a second data frame not containing information classified as the first importance level; and generating a superframe comprising at least the first data frame having a cyclic prefix of the first cyclic prefix length and the second data frame having a cyclic prefix of the second cyclic prefix length.
