<p>A method of manipulating a graphic representation of a word on a display, the method comprising using a computer (10) having a processor (2) and storage (4), a display (8) and a pointing apparatus (9) all coupled to the processor (2), the storage (4) storing instructions executable on the processor (2), the method comprising executing the instructions on the processor (2) so as to display the word as a graphic representation of a series of characters (16a, 16b) on the display (8), to allow selection of a character (16a) of the series of characters (16a, 16b) with the pointing apparatus (9) and to allow dragging of the selected character(16a) with the pointing apparatus (9), in which the method comprises executing code on the processor (2) such that dragging the selected character (16a) has the effect of changing the relative spatial position of the characters (16a, 16b) on the display (8).</p> |
