PURPOSE: A strip casting apparatus is provided to prevent strips from mutually adhering and being agglomerated in a cooling process and to uniformly form the minute crystal structure of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A strip casting apparatus includes a molten metal cooling unit (40) and a strip cooling unit (60). The molten metal cooling unit has a cooling roll cooling molten metal and forming the molten metal into a strip. The strip cooling unit cools the strip, which is dropped by the rotation of the cooling roll, with a stirring method. The strip cooling unit has a cooling chamber (62), a cooling plate (64), and a stirring part (70). The stirring part has a rotary blade and a driving motor. An upwardly tapered guide pin, which is inserted into a guide hole, is formed at the top border of the cooling chamber. |
