<p>The brake has a brake caliper (10) surrounding an edge of a brake motor and supported in a floating manner. The brake caliper has fixed and movable brake shoes. A spindle drive (16) is provided for the movable brake shoe, and a transmission connects a drive source with the spindle drive. The drive source is designed as a motor (32) i.e. electric motor, for driving a screw (30). The spindle drive has an outer nut (28) designed as a worm gear, where the outer nut forms a worm drive together with the screw. A bearing block made from rubber-elastic material is connected with a drive housing (14).</p> |
