PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To help an artificial mitral valve have movements similar to actual one without using any stent. SOLUTION: The artificial mitral valve 10 has a ring 12 including a cuspis anterior region 44 and a cuspis posterior region 45 both defined by dividing them circumferentially, and an artificial valve lobe 11 running along the periphery of the ring 12. The artificial valve lobe 11 includes a lateral symmetrical cuspis anterior forming part 14 continuous from the cuspis anterior region 44, and a lateral symmetrical cuspis posterior forming part 15 continuous from the cuspis posterior region 45. The cuspis anterior forming part 14 includes an upper edge 17 connected with the ring 12 and a lower edge 22 forming a fork part 20 in continuation from the upper edge 17. The upper edge 17 includes a pair of right and left tilted edges 24 each inwardly and upwardly tilted from both the right and left ends, and a curved edge 25 located between the tilted edges 24 and curved along the standard region 48 of cuspis anterior region 44. The cuspis posterior forming part 15 includes an upper edge 31 connected with the ring 12 and a lower edge 37 forming the fork part 35 in continuation from the upper edge 31.
