<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for simplifying control on cooling a processor and the control method of the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 1 is provided with: a plurality of processors 11 to 14; cooling parts 21 to 24 for cooling the processors 11 to 14; detection parts 31 to 34 for measuring the temperature of each of the processors 11 to 14, and for comparing the temperature of each of the processors 11 to 14 with each of thresholds determined for each of the processors 11 to 14 on the basis of the measurement result, and for detecting a first processor whose temperature has reached or exceeded the threshold; and a load control part 35 for shifting at least one portion of the load of the processor 11 to the processors 12 to 14 other than the processor 11.
