The aid is used in conjunction with a motor vehicle door, and allows persons in wheelchairs to enter and leave a vehicle. The door panel has guide tracks along its side, limiting edges along which a door actuator (connected to the vehicle) functions. The door panel, in the area of its lower limiting edge, is pivotably located around a pivot articulation supported by a pivot arm. The door panel can be lowered against a base through the effect of the pivot arm or lifted from the base and pivoted inwards towards the vehicle. |
